Naomi and Rikki's Wedding Day | Normanton Park Hotel and Normanton Church | East Midlands Videographer

Naomi and Rikki had their wedding day at the Normanton Park hotel, a lovely venue set in the countryside next to the absolutely magical Normanton Church. Now the Normanton Church had been on my wedding videography bucket list for a while, so when Naomi and Rikki told me that they were having their wedding day there I was even more excited to film their wedding day! Naomi had her Bridal preparations at the lovely lodge next to the The champagne was out and everyone was getting ready for the amazing day ahead! When we popped out to get some exterior shots of the church we found Rikki, one very excited Groom, walking into the hotel with his brother and the rest of the Groomsmen. After filming some more footage of the preparations and the guests arriving we headed on down to Normanton Church.

Happy groom spotted!

Finishing touches on the dress

This church was such a lovely setting for the Ceremony. Naomi looked absolutely amazing as she walked down the aisle with her Mother, Rikki’s reaction to Naomi’s entrance was just heart-warming. There were smiles all around throughout the ceremony; the vows were said and the first kiss was captured, the hard part was over for the Bride and Groom, but now the pressure was off and it was time to celebrate!

Smiles all around

Just after the ceremony, it was super windy!

After a a very windy session capturing some creative shots with Rikki and Naomi (which almost resulted in a soaking wet camera) it was time for some Wedding Breakfast speeches. Naomi’s Mother gave a beautiful speech reciting her memories of Naomi’s childhood and proudly telling the wedding guests just how lovely it was to see Naomi in her Wedding dress. Rikki told guests stories of how he and Naomi met and also some funny moments in their lives. Then came the best man speech, full of throwback photos from Rikki’s childhood. Photos that came with some great stories and wholesome memories. The speeches were a success, the evening party was next on the cards.

We got some more creative shots just before the first dance, my favourite being the opening shots of the highlight film. After we got the shots outside the newlyweds headed inside for their first dance. The lights were lowered and family and friends gathered around to watch Naomi and Rikki dance along to the perfect Adele song. Everyone joined in and threw out all of their best moves when Livin La Vida Loca came on. Overall, the day was one to remember and a pleasure to film. I’m wishing all the best to Rikki and Naomi in the future, they’ll be an amazing Husband and Wife team!

The First Dance, Rikki’s brother enjoyed telling everyone that the Adele First Dance song was actually written by Bob Dylan, you learn something new every wedding!
