How is a Wedding day filmed? | Leicestershire Wedding Videographer

In this blog we will be taking you through the Wedding Video process from the start of the day up to the end of the day. Read and enjoy:

The Bridal preparations: We’ll be there early when you’re getting ready for your Wedding day, our professional videographers will capture everything such as the smaller details on the dress, the jewellery, items that are borrow, blue and new to the reactions of your bridesmaids when they see you dressed ready to walk down the isle. Once you've finished your champagne and the Bridal preparations are over we’ll head over to the ceremony venue to capture everyone arriving then we’ll meet you at the bottom of the aisle.

The Wedding Ceremony: Capturing the ceremony perfectly is essential as it will be one of the most important elements of your Wedding video. We’ll have your ceremony covered from at least two different angles in order to record everyone coming up the aisle and most importantly, the Bride arriving. The Groom’s reaction is one of the priceless moments that we will film for you to watch over, a Groom seeing his Bride walk down the aisle is a truly magically experience. Your ceremony will be recorded in full, the poems, the vows and the first kiss all recorded to be enjoyed again and again.

The Speeches: Once everyone has settled down after the congratulations at the bar, after some hugs from the relatives and friends attending, after the catch up with someone who made it down just to see you on your special day, we will start filming your speeches. The Father of the Bride’s speech can be an emotional one, it can also be humorous and sometimes a tiny bit embarrassing. But that’s the Father of the Bride’s job, to make you smile on your big day and watch his daughter join another family in a beautiful way. The Best Man will give his speech that will definitely have some humour in, don’t worry if you missed any of the speeches though; it will all be there for you to watch over at home.

The Evening Party: The fun isn’t over there; there’s still the cake cutting, the Bouquet toss and the First Dance to go. Not to mention everyone getting up and dancing together! All of the amazing decorations around the room, we’ve seen all sorts of themes, Alice in Wonderland, International Destinations, F1 Racing and Wonderful Rustic themes to name a few. Each one gives a Wedding it’s own special atmosphere that can be beautifully translated into a beautiful Wedding Video. Be sure to let us know if you want anything else captured in the evening, we always plan ahead to get everything to make the best Wedding Video for all of our Brides and Grooms but if anything changes and there are some last minute sparklers, special acts or dances just let us know and we’ll be sure to capture it.

When the filming is over the fun begins again during the editing process. The footage taken from your day will be professionally edited together and colour graded into a unique and beautiful Wedding Video for you, your family and your friends to watch over and over. Relive one of the greatest days of your life, you may pick up on something you missed every time you watch your video back, this is one of the best reasons to have a video, seeing those priceless moments again or for the first time when you are at home and relaxed.

Constructing a Wedding Video is a special process that takes great care and consideration from the initial consultation all the way to packing the USB sticks to be delivered to your door. Once we’ve finished filming on your Wedding Day your film will take up to 8 Weeks to arrive, a wait that is definitely worth it! We aim for 100% satisfaction with all of our couples, we can’t wait to get to know you more and capture all of the emotions of your Wedding day for you to share and relive.
