So, how was 2020 for Yellow Glove Productions? | End of year recap!

Hi everyone, Jasper from Yellow Glove Productions here. In 2019 I created an end of year thank you video from Switzerland, however as we all know, 2020 has presented travel bans and restrictions that none of us could have anticipated. So today I’m speaking from sunny Leicestershire.

As you may know last year was a great year full of weddings for Yellow Glove. This year we were looking to take what we had learnt from those weddings and bring it to businesses; using real emotions and real stories and to create a genuine connection between potential customers and businesses. 

So here’s the picture, 2020, we had a full wedding calendar it was going to be a push to launch our new business branding packages. However, that little global pandemic thing we have all been experiencing, pretty much wiped out all the weddings we had booked. All except one very special day. 

Rather than sit around and wait for the sun to shine again. I teamed up with my good friend Matt Glover over a zoom call and we decided to launch our branding package. Taking our respective photo and video expertise to businesses. 

Now, Matt’s an amazing photographer and I’m a pretty good videographer!

So it made sense to team up and support each other during this time and to offer businesses branding images and videos that will make a difference to their marketing! Allowing for customers to have that like, know and trust connection.

Since our first lockdown promo video we have worked with loads of awesome clients, giving them a way to connect with their customers over the course of this year. 

I can confidently say that at Yellow Glove Productions we have achieved our goal of launching our commercial video production service and in a unique way by providing a huge amount of value when it comes to creating video marketing content. 

We have also had the pleasure of working within the property industry, creating beautiful 360 tours  and videos to give potential renters a way to see their next home! It has really proven just how immersive and incredible camera technology has become!

It’s no secret as well that I have personally been working with the great team over at Incite video. So a big shout out and thank you the them for having me to assist on some very special projects.

Overall, what initially looked like a scary 2020 has quickly become one of the most amazing years yet for our own business development…

I want to express just how much video means right now. It’s no longer a last minute add on for the marketing budget or a novelty for social media. Video is the number one way to reach people right now. 

Whether it is a zoom call, a tiktok, an email link, a virtual tour, a branding or promotional video from us. Video is simply the best way you can to reach someone and make a connection.

And I’m not just talking about employees, leads or clients. Video is allowing us to stay connected with our family and friends as well. 

Video is truly a magical thing right now. It is an industry that we love being a part of. 

To end off I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone, from the people we have met and worked with in 2020, to previous connections that are stronger than ever. 

There is an amazing future ahead and we are looking forward to sharing all the exciting projects we have planned with clients next year.
