Recycling old footage | #Jan30 15
Hello, everyone Jasper from Yellow Glove Productions here. So, it's just a quick tip today, and that is to start looking at your old footage. Yes, look at all that footage that you filmed back in the past and use it. Old footage is great because it's over and done with. The great thing is that you can repurpose it and sort of recycle it into a new message, or a new video.
And if you haven't used that footage already, then it may be possible that is something you can put out now. I say this today because I'm just working on a little social teaser, which has been made up of a past branding video and some testimonials. And it just got me thinking and even looking into my own past footage as well, and seeing what can be used. It's definitely a lot easier than going out and capturing something brand new.
So, if you've got any spare footage lying around, just have a look over it and see if you can use it again, or repurpose it for another video. You may even find that that old footage wasn't used for a reason, maybe you really slipped up, or it just didn't come out the way you wanted it to.
That's no worry at all though, just look at the footage and see if it inspires you to maybe redo that video, or just get some inspiration for the next video you're going to shoot. So, that's it for today. Just a quick one, but I think a very useful one as well.
Thank you as always for watching, and I'm looking forward to speaking to you soon. Bye for now.
