Lauren and Luke | Warwick House, Southam | Coventry Wedding Videographer
Lauren and Luke had the perfect Wedding day in my eyes; it was a day full of family, friends, tears, laughs and hugs. As soon as arrived at Warwick House I started filming the Bridal preparations, Lauren and the Bridal party were getting there make up and hair perfect for the day, the champagne was out and the instant camera was out already getting loads of photos. It was the dress reveal that absolutely made the preparations amazing to have on film; watch the video for Lauren’s Mum’s reaction, it is such a lovely moment.
Luke and the Groomsman all arrived in black Jaguars and suited up, very suave indeed. After some greetings it was time to roll on with one of the best bits; the Ceremony! You could not put a price on Luke’s reaction to Lauren walking up the isle, this is why 2 cameras is always perfect, getting the reaction of the Bride and Groom always makes the job fun, editing can be emotional too. I did not think it was possible for the Bride and Groom to look any happier and more in love with one another but I think once the vows were said and the rings had been exchanged they were more in love and happier than ever. Walking down the isle hand in hand, they both cheered in excitement.
The speeches at Luke and Laurens’ Wedding are definitely going to be engrained in my mind for a long time, the emotional slide shows, an amazing speech from the Groom and the Best Man performing a series of successful magic tricks (despite one which ended with Luke having a water soaked head) all made the speech time fly by. Post speeches allowed some time for drinks, conversation and congratulations before the evening party kicked off. I capture some more footage and congratulations messages then got my equipment ready for the first dance.
Once everyone had gathered around the dance floor and the happy couple had cut their cake it was time for the first dance. A first dance is always my favourite part of the Wedding day because although you are surrounded by everyone it feels as though there are only two people in the room. I always believe that filming first dances is surreal because of the emotion between the couple is just so amazing to see. Lauren and Lukes’ dance was a beautiful memory and it was so great to capture on video.
Overall, the day was incredible, a true pleasure to film and I wish Lauren and Luke the very best in the future as Husband and Wife. Future Bride and Grooms take note! Because this is how you do a Wedding.
