2020, Keep hanging on! We'll get there eventually.

If you’re anything to do with weddings, whether you’re a client or a supplier, there’s no doubt that this year has been one of mega anxiety inducing proportions. Maybe that’s an over-reaction though. I hate to sound negative but that’s just how I have been feeling, and honesty, is of course…the best policy.

I won’t get too down though. We still have the rest of year left (it’s currently the 7th day of August at the time of writing this), some winter weddings are still in sight! As of this moment, I have filmed one absolutely amazing wedding so far this year, a wedding which I thought would serve as a top example of how to have your special day during this time.

However, with government restrictions going back and forth it’s hard to say when myself and fellow suppliers will next see a full wedding day. I have heard the quotes saying that the country will be back to normal by Christmas so that gives me and hopefully others some hope.

As suppliers, the only thing we can do right now is to keep working hard to make sure we are all staying in business, whether it’s taking deposits for future weddings or diversifying our services let’s keep at it and support each other during this rocky ride of 2020.

If you’re a couple planning their big day and you’ve had to postpone, then all the same, hold on. This will all pass eventually and you will both get the big day you deserve! I totally understand wanting to postpone, having all of your family and friends around you when you finally become life partners.

If you read through this small blog then thank you, I hope it made a bit of sense aha. It has been tough for everyone involved in weddings but I think if not by the end of this year, 2021 will be our year, couples and suppliers!
